Salt Lake County Employees' Credit Union was founded in 1956 with just ten members.  It began as a way for Salt Lake County Employee members to help each other financially by pooling their savings together and making loans at more affordable interest rates.  This "People Helping People" philosophy is something that we stand by today.  We have chosen to limit our services to basic saving and lending so that we can continue to provide our members with the highest savings rates and lowest loan rates possible.
